To mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, Burton Constable Hall is displaying Neil Hutty’s extraordinary collection of objects relating to the East Riding Yeomanry, generously loaned by Neil himself. Neil’s talk will explore the history of the East Riding Yeomanry, from its 18th-century cavalry beginnings through two world wars and beyond, using 15 objects from the collection to illustrate its rich heritage.
