Thousands of books have been written about the body's energy centers, and many people think they know everything there is to know about them. However, contemporary yoga teachers, energy healers, and psychics often believe that the chakra system they know, and love, is thousands of years old. But this isn't true at all.
Our modern descriptions are very different from those discussed in ancient Hindu texts. And our modern system is very different from the ones they grew out of. In fact, our most common version of the 7 rainbow-colored centers didn't get finalized until just 47 years ago!
If you wish to know the true origins of these teachings, and if you have ever wondered where the names, colors, locations, and other associations and symbols come from, then this workshop is for you. During our session, we will discover what was originally taught in the East and how this knowledge—through the work of Blavatsky, Leadbeater, Steiner, Cayce, Jung, and others—gave birth to a newer Western system.
Afterwards, we will immerse ourselves in a vibrational sound experience to bring alignment and balance to these centers, promoting well-being for our body, mind, and soul.
