This program delves into how honey bees came to the United States and the history of hunt and harvest and purposeful beekeeping. You are introduced to the innovators in historical beekeeping including lorenzo langstroth And how Connecticut played in important role in apiculture.
This event is a free event to attend. Just reach out to the library and register at the library directly.
There will be extensive literature in hand outs. As well as recipes and posters.
There will also be several door prize raffles at the end of the event.
