Once a lively fresh market beside the railroad tracks, the location has deep roots in Hickory's legacy of furniture, textiles, and community.
Carl Shatley is an accomplished educator, lecturer, and artist. He holds a Master of Arts degree in History from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Greensboro College.
