There are many things, such as Christmas trees, that remind us of the holiday. Many of us have holiday traditions, but have you ever wondered when these Christmas traditions started? There is a lot of history behind Christmas and not all of it is what you might expect. Guest speaker, David Kuball, from the Golden Valley Historical Society will guide us through the history behind many of our most treasured Christmas traditions, even highlighting times in history when Christmas was unpopular and other times where it was very different from the Christmas that we celebrate today. As we go through the history of all things Christmas, you may be surprised by where our traditions came from and how they came to be as we know them today!
