About this Event

The Indian Nations Gaming & Governance Program at William S. Boyd School of Law invites you to a lunch 'n learn to learn about the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe, a federally recognized tribe of Southern Paiute Indians in Southern Nevada.


The Las Vegas Indian Colony was established in 1911. Today, the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe is governed by a seven-person tribal council and operates a cannabis dispensary, a minimart, two smoke shops, a health and human services program, the Las Vegas Paiute Police Department, and the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.


Lunch will be provided to thos who register and attend in person
