Come join us for an exciting adventure through one of San Francisco's most iconic landmarks! Our History and Highlights of Golden Gate Park Walking Tour will take you on a journey through the rich history and breathtaking highlights of Golden Gate Park. Stops include the stunning Conservatory of Flowers, The DeYoung Museum, the historic Music Concourse and Japanese Tea Garden, The National AIDS Memorial Grove, and The Children's Carousel. You'll get to experience it all firsthand. Our knowledgeable guide will share fascinating stories and insights along the way, making this a tour you won't want to miss. Lace up your walking shoes and get ready to explore!
Distance: 2.5 Miles
Time: Approximately 2.5 Hours
Difficulty: An easy stroll. We make many stops along our route. A few have limited seating. You must be able to walk for this amount of time.
Terrain: Flat pavement, except for The National AIDS Memory Grove, which is accessible by stairs or an ADA ramp.
Breaks: There is one 15-minute break at The DeYoung Museum, where you can enjoy majestic views atop The Hamon Tower, use the restroom, or relax.
Note: Entrance fees to ticketed areas of the park are not included.
This tour is designed to give you an overview of highlights within the park. It's scheduled in the morning, so you can explore places of interest – and these attractions – in the afternoon.
