On Thursday, September 19, Jerry Janiszewski will discuss the history of the state's craft breweries at his program, “The History and Growth of Craft Breweries in Wisconsin” at the Holly History and Genealogy Center. The program will begin at 6 p.m.Janiszewski serves on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Historical Foundation and Milwaukee’s Pabst Mansion. He is a longtime beer historian and the recent recipient of the Historical Preservation Award presented by the American Breweriana Association.
This Waupaca Historical Society program will take place at the Holly Center at 321 S. Main Street, Waupaca. Refreshments will be served.
Following the program, attendees are welcome to head to H.H. Hinder Brewing Co. on Churchill Street in Waupaca for a social gathering. H.H. Hinder Brewing Co. and Badgers Den Brewing Club are sponsors of the program.
