The High Point Big Sweep is a fall litter cleanup effort that focuses on removing litter from roadways, streams, creeks, lake shorelines, parks, school campuses, and the Greenway. All litter cleanup supplies are provided. We ask that you register for the event by visiting www.highpointnc.gov/khpb and click on the High Point Big Sweep. Doughnuts and coffee are served for breakfast and pizza and beverages are available for lunch for all volunteers. This event is also a food drive and we will be collecting donations of nonperishable food items to give to a local food pantry here in High Point. Volunteers are also entered into a drawing for the chance to possibly win one of five $100.00 Visa gift cards courtesy of Blue Ridge Companies. Each donation of a nonperishable food items will earn the donor an additional entry into the prize drawing.
