About this Event
The story of James Connolly usually focuses in on the 1913 Lockout and the 1916 Rising. Yet there was so much more to his time in Dublin. This tour will visit some of the less well-known or ‘hidden’ places associated with his life in the city. It is about 2km in length and will take about two hours, starting at Beresford Place and ending at St. Michin's Park (back of Capel St). This is an all-weather event so please dress appropriately on the day. Tour guide is Dr. Conor McCabe, editor of The Lost and Early Writings of James Connolly, 1891-1898.
