Parking- it is best to find a non metered parking spot since our class is over the 2 hour time limit. Spots may be available on 2nd St, 1st St and Galloway.
We'll kick off the event with a comforting cup of nettle tea and some delicious nettle donuts while we discuss the numerous virtues of this multifaceted plant. From combating arthritis to crafting ink, stinging nettle boasts a wide array of uses.
In the hands-on portion of the event, you'll learn how to create your own nettle-infused vinegar, nettle oxymel, nettle hair oil, and nettle hair rinse. Following the workshop, indulge in some delectable nettle pesto and enjoy a refreshing mocktail infused with nettle.
Please note that individuals with diabetes are advised to refrain from using nettle as it may affect blood sugar levels. Additionally, pregnant individuals should avoid nettle due to its potential to induce contractions. Participants will be asked to sign a waiver.
