About this Event
From New York to Paris from ragtime to jazz, The Hello Girls chronicles the story of America’s first women soldiers, The Hello Girls is an exciting new musical with that takes us from New York to the WWI frontlines in France. It is the story of the groundbreaking work of women telephone operators and their expertise in the field of communications that played a central role in turning the tide of World War I in favor of the Allies. Once home they fought a decades long battle for recognition and equality as members of the armed services, paving the way for future generations.
WTC mission is to improve the portrayal and treatment of women through the art of theater. WTC is a non-profit organization made up of women involved in local theaters. We work to empower and support women and girls through the power of theatre. A portion of the profit from every production is donated to other non-profits that benefit women in need.
