About this Event
Hold onto your seats and get ready for a laugh riot in Chance McAdams' short film, The Heckler! This comedic gem follows a budding comic navigating the anxiety and awkwardness of stand-up, from the spark of an idea to the bright stage lights—talk about a real punchline journey!
"Every comedian has to do stand up for the first time. How they get there is another story. Chase is an aspiring comedian. He can't stomach not trying anymore. He has found, "Get Pickled," the open-mic. He has walked to, "Another Bar" the venue where it takes place. He has even signed his name on the list to do stand up countless times. This night, however, is his last. The host of the open-mic, Pickle, informs Chase if he writes his name down and doesn't get up again, he is not allowed back. So, naturally, Chase gets drunk. What happens next is a hard to watch, but can't look away show of bravery and stupidity you won't want to miss."
Chance, a multi-talented actor, producer, filmmaker, and stand-up comic, serves up a relatable exploration of the highs and lows of making people laugh, complete with cringe-worthy moments and triumphant punchlines that will leave you in stitches.
