In this educational session, we will explore the concept of pedagogy of hope as a key to meaningful educational work in times of uncertainty and challenge. We will examine the meaning of hope through sources from Jewish culture, poetry, and thought, and learn the core principles of a pedagogy of hope as articulated by contemporary educators and thinkers. Together, we will reflect on how these ideas can be applied in our own educational practice — in the classroom, in the community,and in the broader spaces in which we act as educators. Noa Gerassi and Nicole Boico will lead this session in the CJL Reading Room. Earn 2 LOMED credits for attending.
