As a part of PTSD Awareness Month, Veteran and Gold Star Spouse Jennifer Ballou will host an in-person and virtual yoga session at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. This program will include a brief introduction and a 45-minute Restorative Flow yoga class, followed by closing remarks on how yoga and mindfulness tie into physical wellness and mental health. Tickets are limited to 40 in-person guests, so reserve your space now! Please bring with you a yoga mat or towel and one bottle of water. Jennifer Ballou is the Founder and CEO of A Joyful Life With Jennifer, LLC helping women Veterans and military families navigate life changes while living a whole and joyful life. She does this as a Speaker, Certified Professional Life Coach and 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, both virtually and in-person, through a variety of offerings. Throughout her 21-year Army career, Jennifer held numerous leadership positions which culminated in her role as the Senior Enlisted Advisor of the United States Army Resilience Directorate, Army G1, Pentagon. In this capacity, she oversaw the entire Army Resilience Program worldwide, including a staff of over 200 personnel and a budget of $60M.
