THE HEADLINES from Sweden/Denmark has a long and trying history of blood, sweat and beers. Hailing originally from rural south Sweden and has played every bathroom, garage and dive bar known to man. As we step into the almost science fiction like environment that is todays' music business it can be re-assuring and good to have that band to rely on. That band that reminds you of your first romance with rock n roll or your first punk festival accompanied by a fast beat and cheap wine in the sun. The songs are a heartfelt and honest cheers to both dead and living influences, as much as a new, fun and undiscovered road to ruin. The current line up with the outgoing but sincere power frontwoman KERRY BOMB has since 2017 released 2 albums, "In the end" and "Warpaint". 2024 marks a new step for this punk quintett into something broader but with the same punky nerves and heart on sleeve lyrics. A vital and ambitious sound of hardrocking anthems that challenge your ears! THE HEADLINES have played in Asia, Europe and North America and were special guests on the whole ”Millencolin” and Danko Jones Tour (2023 / 2022) and always brings their A-game.
