Usada Bali and ARMA Museum and Resort is honored to premiere the recently restored version of this legendary ethnographic film that captures the essence East Kalimantan’s indigenous cultures as it was 90 years ago.
THE HEADHUNTERS OF BORNEO (1936), was shot among the indigenous Dayak and Punan peoples in the jungles of Borneo, again with Victor von Plessen as expedition leader and co-producer and with Richard Angst as cinematographer.
