The Haymakers are a Somerville trio that’s storming through New England playing good-time music from VT's green mountains to the dunes of the Cape. What began as a campfire jam has led to a years-long rock & roll party where they make new friends wherever they go.
Stuart Munro of the Boston Globe says they “simply provide you with unalloyed rock 'n roll.” According to York Calling, “They hint at 60s rock, garage rock and classic rock, yet it also has its own diverse flavor, ensuring The Haymakers never sound like parodies of a previous style.”Music blog If It's Too Loud declares, "The songs have a polished but dirty sound, and feel like a dive bar trying to look a little classy."

You may know Bob Cenci from his work with seminal Boston hardcore band Jerry's Kids and The Wynotts, but he plays all sorts of genres with his guitar. One of his current outlets is specifically orange. When he bought an orange acoustic guitar, it inspired a trove of new songs that sound best on that O.G. -- it even shares top billing with Rockin' Bob. With an orange drum set, Ramona Herboldsheimer (of Crow Follow) colorfully adds the backbeat.
