THIS YEAR'S DATES FOR OUR TWO SELBY YOUTH CLUBS ARE OUT NOW! It would be amazing to have new young people come along to these, and be supported to reach their God-given potential. Already we have seen so many young people's lives positively transformed after walking through our doors... building confidence, self esteem and courage.
Each session tends to be themed, with pool, table tennis, baking, cooking, arts, crafts, board games, quizzes, trips, animal encounters, icebreaker challenges, and more! The session also includes a short talk or discussion with a Christian ethos, encouraging the young people to 'be the change they wish to see in the world' and to be 'an indomitable force for good'.
It is such a privilege to be able to positively impact young people's lives.
The Youth Clubs run on Mondays at The St Richard's Centre, Barwic Parade, Selby, N. Yorkshire, 5-6PM; on Tuesdays at The Hawdon, Church Avenue, Selby, N. Yorkshire, 5-7PM.
(On Mondays: We aim at 10-14yr olds, with 15+yr olds helping to run the session.)
(On Tuesdays: We aim at 10-17yr olds, with 18yr olds helping as 'Young Leaders'. We do however operate with some leniency with age, depending on the maturity of the young person.)
