Ghosts of the City: Toowong Cemetery is a special night-time experience. You will discover some remarkable Real History as Queensland’s leading paranormal historian and ‘Haunts of Brisbane‘ creator Liam Baker presents an all-new night tour at the beautiful Toowong Cemetery! ‘Ghosts of the City’ explores some of the ghost stories that have been a part of Brisbane folklore for decades. Delving back into Brisbane’s historical record, Liam will examine the tales of:
- Brisbane City Hall’s haunted staircase
- Petrie Mansion’s mischievous ghost
- The spectral lady of Kangaroo Point’s ‘Nunnington’
- The Slaughter’s Falls phantasm
And more!
This is a great way to safely see the cemetery at night. You will visit the graves of the people involved in these stories, taking in the extraordinary atmosphere of this beautiful place at night.

This tour is suitable for ages 12 years and up.
All our tours are not-for-profit and the money raised goes to our cemetery history and maintenance projects.

Walking difficulty
Medium. Please be aware that this tour does involve walking (slowly in stages) up a hill in the cemetery.
