Lords of Misrule Theatre Co. Present THE HAUNTING IS YOU! It rises again for the 2024 Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival! The Haunting Is You is an interactive horror/comedy where the audience gets to be the ghost. The audience donates money during the show to “possess” the actors on stage to affect the show. Half of the donations will be used to pay the Cast and Crew, the other half will be used to fund a theatre program at the Juvenile Justice Center.
Tickets and Showtimes
This play is free to attend! No ticket required, simply show up and grab a seat. Donations will be accepted during the show via cash, card, or Venmo. No two showings will be the same!
The show will also feature a mocktail bar and a spooky artefact up for auction!
July 28th at 9pm
Jully 29th at 10pm (After the Poetry Slam)
August 2nd at 11:59pm (Midnight Show)
August 3rd at 8pm
The show will be at our home venue, rather than at Trolley Square.

Plot Summary:
A local acting company was putting on a production of Macbeth in a historic downtown theater when tragedy struck and the theater burned down with the audience inside. After the tragedy, a group of young entrepreneurs enter the burned down theater with intent to transform it into a cryptocurrency startup, $wagCoin. However, the ghosts of the audience and the former theater manager have other plans, locking them inside, and subjecting them to all manner of ghostly possession and mischief. Will the crypto-capitalists be able to put the souls of the audience to rest, or will the doomed souls claim them?
