The Hague International Sound Art Festival is back for its third edition! Anti-violence, human rights, inclusion and diversity, and LHBTQIA+ freedom are recurring and particularly urgent topics at this moment. Many artists in international performance and radio art, free jazz and freely improvised music, spoken word, dance, and contemporary composed (electro-acoustic) music, speak out on these subjects in public (for instance on social media) and take a stand.
In the third edition of The Annual The Hague International Sound Art Festival, their art receives special attention, emphasizing the importance of activism and performance, and the ability to speak freely and live and work in freedom.
The festival is dedicated to the legendary Austrian festival director Hans Falb, who organized the KONFRONTATIONEN festival for 45 years and recently passed away.
