About this Event
As research uncovers the overlooked drivers of menstrual disorders, understanding how gut microbiome imbalances shape reproductive health is no longer optional. It’s essential for delivering real results for your clients.
In this presentation, Jade Walker and Laura Taylor will expose the gut microbiome imbalances driving menstrual disorders and reveal targeted treatment strategies to shift the microbiome, reduce harmful bacterial metabolites, and harness the power of herbal medicine for better clinical outcomes.
Jade Walker is a degree-qualified naturopath (BHSc) with a special interest in endometriosis, fertility, and neurodivergence. Her passion for these areas is deeply personal after a 17-year journey to an endo diagnosis, navigating IVF to have her twin girls, and receiving a late ADHD diagnosis herself, Jade brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her work.
She is the founder of The Endo Care Collective, an innovative online program helping people with endometriosis reduce debilitating symptoms through naturopathic care.
Her work in this space has seen her contribute to How to Endo by Bridget Hustwaite, join the advisory board for the new endo-focused app Matilda, and also held a position as Director of Health and Wellness for Hey Sister, which is a unique herbal medicine for PMS and period pain.
With all her knowledge and passion, Jade interviews some of the leading experts in our field on her podcast, The Jade Walker Way, as well as practitioner mentoring, and her popular educational content on social media.
Laura Taylor is an experienced naturopath with a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy. Since graduating, Laura has mentored under Dr Jason Hawrelak, Dr Nirala Jacobi and Karly Raven to further deepen her knowledge of gastrointestinal disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies. Through her online clinic, The Biome Collective, Laura has supported hundreds of clients with complex digestive concerns, using microbiome manipulation to achieve long-lasting resolution of their symptoms.
Laura’s special interest lies in uncovering the root causes of persistent gut issues such as IBS, SIBO and inflammatory bowel disease, and supporting the intricate connections between gut health, hormones and the nervous system. Laura’s other clinical interest is unravelling the complexities that surround iron, to help her clients get to the root cause of this common deficiency. Her evidence-based, no-nonsense approach combines functional testing with practical, individualised care that empowers clients who feel like they’ve already tried everything without success.

While our meetings began in Melbourne’s inner north and have grown from those humble, community-centred beginnings, it feels like the right time for a new chapter.
We’re deeply grateful for that history and everyone who has helped shape it. One thing we’ve consistently heard over the years is the desire for livestreaming, so that regional and home-based practitioners can still connect, learn, and be part of the magic.
We’ve listened - and it's happening.
