For a generation that were promised jet packs and hover boards, the 21st century seems like quite an anticlimax. But rather than whining, one group of survivors from the cold-war era chose to create their own sense of wonder. And that, my friends, is how Higgs and the Bosons was born. Regarded by many as the town’s leading atom punk band – well, can you name another? – their hard edged rock attempts to pacify a disgruntled age group with hard edged songs of survival against the odds. But it’s not all doom and gloom and their optimism is reflected in their energetic songs and compelling rhythms. If you want to be convinced that the world is not going to hell in a handcart, the Bosons are here to guide you by the hand to an optimistic future.
