It’s a version in which they make subtext text! (I’ll give you a clue: it’s gay.)
It all starts when Sir Gawain is peer-pressured into chopping off the Green Knight's head. This is unfortunate - and unsuccessful. The Green Knight somehow survives decapitation, and now Gawain is going to get his head chopped off in return! But King Arthur reckons this will be grand, as Gawain needs to do more manly things anyway, and there is nothing more manly than getting your head good and chopped off.
As fantastical as it is funny, Scottish-Indian and non-binary storyteller Niall Moorjani excellently brings this old legend into the modern world with deep love for the original text. It's comedy storytelling and very much for adults.
