What if a storm appeared out of thin air and swallowed ships whole? In 1913, that's exactly what happened. For three terrifying days, a mysterious storm tore across the Great Lakes. They called it the Great White Hurricane of 1913… and it remains the deadliest storm the Great Lakes have ever seen. More than 30 ships vanished beneath the waves. Over 250 sailors never made it home.
