The Great Western is back! Glasgow’s festival of musical exploration and discovery will return to the city’s West End on Saturday 12 November 2022 and we are incredibly excited to announce that renowned Russian feminist art/protest collective Pussy Riot will be joining us as festival headliners!
Following a hugely successful UK tour in 2019 which included a 10-night residency at Summerhall for Edinburgh Fringe, Pussy Riot return to Scotland at a very poignant moment for world affairs, with a revised show that now spans the prosecution of political prisoners and Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The Great Western is thrilled to welcome the group to the festival for the first time for what promises to be a vital and unforgettable performance.
