Join us at the Butchers Dog (Driffield’s premier real ale pub) to mark this iconic anniversary to commemorate 110 years since the Great War began.
Sergeant Parsons has traveled back in time from 1917 to 2024 to lead you on an interactive, informative, and immersive experience.
He will begin by telling the story of the lead-up to the conflict and the declaration of War, the early opening phases of the fighting, and the trench deadlock that ensued.
Join him on a 45-minute virtual reality journey of the trenches in the British Sector of the Western Front. You will experience, dangers and life on the front line, before going over the top and into action.
All this from the safety and comfort of the Butchers Dog in Driffield!
Tickets cost £10.00; this includes a donation to Combat Stress the armed forces mental health charity.
Performances begin at 12.00 and will run on the hour every hour until 17.00. Performances are family-friendly and are suitable for children 7 years and over.
Owing to limited availability performances are limited to 15 tickets per hour.
