The Great State of Maine Homeschool Conference is geared for the whole family:
*Interactive, engaging family-friendly entertainment and
programs for all ages, including Ryan Eldridge of Maine Cabin Masters, Sawyer Fredericks, winner of NBC's The Voice, Michael Cooper's Masked Marvels, Mr. Drew and His Animals Too, KindKids, Sagittarius Rising, Frogtown Puppeteers, Maine State Police K-9 Unit and MORE!
*50+ workshops and panel presentations to choose from such as: How to Homeschool 101, portfolio reviews, career exploration and preparation, how to start a co-op, health and self-care, yoga, Ancient Wisdom for Modern Homeschooling: The Gurukul Philosophy, NCAA rule navigation for future college athletes, info on a variety of homeschool styles, career and job opportunities in Maine's tourism industry, and navigating and preparing for Early College programs;
*Career and college fair for teens and recent homeschool graduates;
*Social time and networking for both teens and families;
*Sensory-friendly space, and workshops for families of children with special learning needs such as autism, ADHD and dyslexia.
*A dedicated children's area;
* Teen dance and family socials on Friday night!
With the growing number of homeschoolers, the need for information, mentoring, and collaboration has never been greater to work together to build the communities we want for our kids!
