Argenta Downtown Council brings you a delectable celebration of America's most beloved comfort food. Join us for the inaugural Great Southern Mac & Cheese Championship on Sunday, September 29th!Mac & Cheese enthusiasts of all ages are invited to join in the festivities, which will include a Pro Championship, Amateur Competition, and Kid’s Contest. Limited teams will be accepted, so aspiring chefs should submit their applications early to secure their spot in this cheesy showdown.

Prizes and Awards: Win big and be honored for your cheesy creations with cash prizes and awards. The top professional winner will be awarded $400!
Sampling Extravaganza: Dive into a delicious cheese-tasting bonanza, sampling all the competitors' mouthwatering dishes.
Fun for the Whole Family: Let the little ones unleash their creativity with fun macaroni
art and other family-friendly activities. Kids can also compete! We are accepting applications for 10 kids, age 12 and under to show off their cooking skills.
Live Music: Get down to groovy tunes while savoring your cheesy treats.
Participants can register to compete in one of the three categories: Pro Championship, Amateur Competition, or Kid’s Contest. Applications are now open, and spaces are limited. Rules must be reviewed before registering.
Beginning Monday, August 5th, tickets will be available for purchase. Tickets include access to all the activities and the opportunity to sample the best mac & cheese dishes in the South.
