Legend has it that on Christmas Eve, after all the children of the household have gone to bed, a special Christmas Pickle is hidden in the branches of the Christmas Tree. Whoever would be the first to find it Christmas morning would be rewarded with a special gift or the privilege of opening the first gift. While it’s not certain where or when this tradition of the Christmas Pickle began, we have made it part of our annual celebration.
