Redlands Uniting Church is Bringing the Outback to Cleveland
Join our Great Outback BBQ to help bring the Aussie Outback to Cleveland.
Redlands Uniting Church - Cleveland, will be hosting a Great Outback BBQ on Sunday, 31st August at 4 pm, to help support Frontier Services and Aussie Farmers struggling to stay on the land in remote Australia.
I was so saddened to hear how many of our farmers are still struggling with the aftermath of drought, bushfires, floods and a pandemic. Many are isolated, overwhelmed, and can’t get through it on their own. It is devastating to hear that some are already getting forced off properties they have lived on for decades.
Our BBQ is supporting Frontier Services, who are on the ground across remote Australia, delivering practical support to our Aussie Farmers.
Friends, family and community members are invited to meet at Redlands Uniting Church - Cleveland (36 Passage St) on Sunday, 31st August at 4 pm for our Great Outback BBQ, which will raise money and encourage others to show their support of farmers doing it tough.
It’s a fun way that we can get involved and support a really great cause.

People across Australia will gather ‘round the grill this year to promote mateship and standing with Aussie Farmers in Outback Australia.
“The Great Outback BBQ is a way to give back to the farmers putting food on our store shelves. It is a chance to get together with friends and family and celebrate in an iconic Aussie tradition. Together we’re standing with people living in the most isolated parts of the country and showing we care,” said Frontier Services National Director, Jannine Jackson.
