Come Along to our Great Cornish show where you will see traditional Cornish Dancing, taste the delights of Cornish baking and hear the dulcet tones of Cornwall being sung. This event is held at the School but is open for Everyone within our community far and wide ! Anyone can enter our show case regardless of Age ?
Category 1: piece of art (Cornish themed) – maximum size A3
Category 2: photograph of somewhere in Cornwall – maximum size A4
Category 3: Cornwall in miniature (3D model) – maximum base size A4
Category 4: decorated stone (Cornish themed)
Category 5: plate of 6 decorated biscuits or 6 small cakes (Cornish themed)
Category 6: 4 pasties or 4 scones
Three age groups for each category: 3 to 7, 8 to 12, 13 to 99+
All entries must be clearly labelled with the name and age of the entrant (age only needed if under 16).
11am to 12noon - school open for entries to be dropped off
12noon to 1pm - judging (school closed)
1pm to 2.30pm - school open for anyone to come in and see the entries - entry fee - £1 adults, children free
During 1pm to 2.30pm Refreshments will be sold
Choir to sing at 1.30pm
Cornish Dance (Beech Class) at 2pm
Cornish themed raffle
All proceeds donated to Cornwall Heritage Trust
