In the context of the Opening Ceremony Exhibition this rare documentary film, one of the first to be made by Adam Curtis in 1984, looks back at how system-built housing, like Druids Heath, took off across the UK in the 1960’s and what happened to them over the next twenty years. The film features interviews with councils, officials and workers from across the country and scenes of Druids Heath amongst other estates.
