Enjoy a fun-filled sponsored walk with your four-legged friend

Take part in The Great British Dog Walk at Heaton Park on Sunday 18th September 2022. It’s a fun-filled sponsored walk which raises money to help deaf people leave loneliness behind and reconnect with life.

The Great British Dog Walk, kindly supported by Specsavers, is a great excuse for people of all ages to get out and about and safely explore a beautiful location while helping to change the lives of deaf people.

What to expect

• Free dog bandana with every adult ticket – to help your four-legged friend look even cuter!

• Enjoy stunning scenery as you explore our beautiful walk locations – with or without a dog!

• A free activity pack with lots of fun things to do while walking

• With pre-booked starting slots, you’ll have the option of walking with others, or with your own group. There are no limits on group sizes – perfect for catching up with friends and family!

• Ask people to sponsor you or your dog and you’ll get some goodies - raise £50 or more and we’ll send you a prize! Walkers raising over £100 will receive a hearing dog puppy sponsorship so you can follow a cute pup’s training journey for up to two years!

• You’ll be directly helping to change deaf people’s lives

• Online sign up – this means you’ll be able to get walking much faster when you arrive

Time: 10am-12 noon (starting times are staggered)

Adult: £10

Children (under 16) and dogs go free

Please note, your entry fee covers the costs of the event, but getting sponsored changes the lives of deaf people so please could we ask you to:

Please arrive within your 30-minute timeslot in order to check in and start your walk.

Please bring your walk tickets with you – either on your smartphone or printed.

If you are booking any tickets for children (anyone under 16), please be sure to reserve/add these when you are selecting your tickets. This will help us to keep track of numbers on the day.
