The annual Great Beckenham Easter Egg Hunt is back for 2025! Ran by the 5th Beckenham South Scout Group with all profits distributed to local charities.
No tickets required, cash or card on day.
Entry is £4 per child (cash or card accepted on the day, no presales). Please note stalls may require cash.
The event takes place on Good Friday (18th April) next to the Bowie Bandstand in Croydon Road Rec (often called Beckenham Rec, where we host the fireworks). Roam all over the park on a treasure hunt and at the end every child leaves with a chocolate treat!
(We will also have non-chocolate treats available for those egg hunters with dietary requirements!)
The nearest train stations are Clock House (11 minutes walk), Beckenham Junction (15 minutes walk) and bus services to Beckenham include the 54, 194, 227, 353, 354, 358, 367
There is covered bike parking in the car park of the Beckenham Beacon
There is pay and display parking in the Village Way multi-storey. Local streets have resident permit parking at different times during the day.
Accessible entrance: the flat entrance recommended for wheelchairs is Croydon Road but the whole park has tarmacked paths.
The event starts and finishes on grass but we will do our best to accommodate those with mobility issues. Please do ask and we will make sure you have a good time!
