The Great Backyard Bird Count Workshop

🐦Hosted in partnership with The Great Salt Lake Audubon Society this workshop will walk you through what The Great Backyard Bird Count is and how you can help scientists around the world by participating.

✏️In this workshop you will:

• Learn the basics of the eBird and Merlin apps
• Meet and connect with other passionate birders
• Get hands-on assistance practicing identifying birds in our garden

🦆Taught by Jeanne Le Ber, a passionate bird watcher since 1980, Jeanne has studied and birded with Terry Tempest Williams, Ella Sorenson, Cooper Farr, and MArk Stackhouse. Jeanne regularly participates in local bird counts including the Salt Lake City Christmas Bird Count, The Jordan River Bird Count, and the Brighton Bird Count. She also instructs continuing education classes at The University of Utah.
