We are thrilled to have the Gravel Project back after several previous great SHK hosted performances. Their live shows blend rock, blues, world music and jazz with power and soul. The band was founded by Andrew Gravel (vocals & guitar) with brother Jordan Gravel (Hammond organ), one of the area's truly great percussion sections featuring Dave Fox and Eguie Castrillo plus the wonderful Jen Kearney sharing the vocal duties. Carrying the tradition of 70’s blues and psychedelic rock music, The Gravel Project embodies the spirit of Santana combined with the classic raw energy and moving songwriting of The Allman Brothers and Tedeschi Trucks Band. This event is being presented by SHK Music at the Boston Harbor Distillery - a wonderfully unique and intimate setting to take in great music with its 1850s architecture, great acoustics, comfortable seating, and fantastic selection of made-on-the-premises liquors and liqueurs. And there's plenty of free parking too.
