Join Us in Supporting Seniors at The Grand Parade!The Grande Prairie & Area Council on Aging is proud to host The Grand Parade on Saturday, September 20, 2025 — a fun and meaningful walk that helps senior-focused non-profit organizations raise vital funds to better serve older adults in our community and surrounding areas.
We’re calling on YOU — our amazing community — to get involved in one of two ways:
👟 Form a Team & Walk
Gather your friends, family, or coworkers to create a team! Help raise pledges and walk 2.5 km or 5 km on event day in support of local seniors. Every step makes a difference.
🙌 Volunteer with Us
We’re also seeking dedicated volunteers to help make this event a success! We have a variety of roles available, including:
· Check-In Team
· Food Team
· Route/Rest Stop Hosts
· Sign/Route Setup Crew
· Welcome Greeters
· And more!
Whether you're walking or volunteering, your involvement helps uplift seniors in our region through enhanced programs and support services.
