The global competition for land is intensifying, with corporations and governments increasingly seizing vast areas of land from indigenous peoples, smallholder farmers, and rural communities. Known as "land grabbing," this phenomenon disrupts local economies, threatens food security, and deepens inequalities, particularly in developing countries. The documentary The Grab offers a powerful look at how these land acquisitions often come at the expense of vulnerable populations and the environment.
As an alliance of organisations committed to secure land rights, the International Land Coalition (ILC) invites you to a special screening of The Grab, followed by a panel discussion featuring Nate Halverson, Senior Reporter and Producer at the Center for Investigative Reporting in San Francisco.
