The Gothic Library Presents "The House on Pooh Corner"

It's been a quiet winter for Winnie-the-Pooh. But when spring rolls around, Christopher Robin's newest friend, Tigger, bounces his way into the Hundred Acre Wood. His arrival is met with doubt and apprehension, but when a blustery storm looms on the horizon, Pooh sets off to ensure that every one of his friends, old and new, have a place in the Hundred Acre Wood that they can call home.

Winnie-the-Pooh first befriended the world on October 14, 1926. Now free to the public domain, this brand new audio adaptation continues his legacy of enchanting, beguiling, and comforting children of all ages. Return to the Hundred Acre Wood through immersive sound design and a little bit of imagination, The Gothic Library way!

Doors open half-hour before the performance, at which time refreshments will be available. The show will run approximately 1 hour 30 minutes without intermission.

Ren Pearson writes, directs, and designs The Gothic Library. He is a Ringling College graduate, class of 2018 with a BFA in Directing for Film. He has done time both on the stage and behind it, including serving as sound engineer for Theater Odyssey. Local credits include work with Theatre Odyssey, The Players Center, and currently performing onboard the Discover Sarasota Trolley Company. He would like to thank Bookstore One for the opportunity to stage The Gothic Library.
