About this Event
Since the doors to the Gothic Library opened, we've transported audiences into the literary worlds of fantasy, horror, and adventure. We close out a year of storytelling magic with a holiday staple.
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
Some say there is no worse than London's own Ebenezer Scrooge. But on a cold, foggy, and dark Christmas Eve, spirits from the other side force him to confront his past, present, and future, in a grand experiment to discover if a bad man is truly beyond redemption.
Originally published in 1843, this novella remains a holiday staple. This enchanting new adaptation will shine light on details and moments often excised from popular retellings so that listeners may garner a newer understanding of Dickens's most popular miser.
