About this Event
THE GORM GATHERING IS BACK!
For too long, DEI has been edited down into corporate jargon and tick-box exercises.
The GORM Gathering 2025 is the director’s cut, raw, unfiltered, and led by community.
This isn’t performative. This is protest and joy in motion.
A short film premiere that exposes what corporate DEI won’t.
Panels that reclaim authorship and centre voices from the margins.
Performances that carry resistance in their rhythm.
A co-creation session where the community sets the agenda — and the industry finally listens.
Because when the system won’t hand us the mic — we bring our own.
ABOUT THE EVENT
The GORM Gathering is an extraordinary narrative change event. It unites filmmakers of colour, industry leaders, and creatives to celebrate and challenge how diversity and inclusion are represented in Irish screen.
