THE GORM GATHERING IS HERE! 🌟🎥
It’s time to change the narrative, for too long the stories of underrepresented communities in Ireland have been painted with a single stroke. We want to add colour to the picture and create a space where these stories are front and centre, where we can unify across our differences.
The GORM Gathering is an event that unites filmmakers, media professionals, creatives of colour, and industry leaders to celebrate and promote Narrative Change in the Irish media. This inaugural gathering is a day long event and promises to be a groundbreaking experience, offering a unique fusion of entertainment, enlightenment, and engagement in order to promote Irish creative screen talent connecting with local and underserved audiences.
About GORM:
is an award-winning social enterprise on a mission to unify across differences and advance belonging for marginalised communities. GORM's vision is to spark a movement of unity and shared understanding through our unique blend of digital media and intercultural consultancy, to demonstrate through evidence based methods and practive that difference does not mean division. As a black and migrant-led organisation, GORM aims to promote Irish media talent from ethnically diverse backgrounds, connecting with local and underserved audiences in order to bring about narrative change.

Ticket Information:
Tickets were priced to make the gathering as accessible as possible to a wide range of attendees. GORM does significant fundraising to provide different fee levels as well as full ticket allowances.
Please select the highest level that your organisation or you are able to afford. In this way, we are able to stretch our resources further and provide additional high quality content and more allowances to those who would otherwise not be able to attend.
Early Bird Tickets:
- Pre-Event Workshop (Lunch Provided) & Main Event - 10:00 -19:00 (Limited Capacity): €10
- Main Event Only - 14:00 - 19:00: €20
Generic Tickets:
- Pre-Event Workshop (Lunch Provided) & Main Event - 10:00 -19:00 (Limited Capacity): €15
- Main Event Only - 14:00 - 19:00: €25

TICKET ALLOWANCES
What is a ticket allowance? A ticket allowance is the provision of a free ticket to the GORM Gathering for individuals who may not be able to afford the standard ticket price based on their financial circumstance.
A limited number of tickets allowances (aka. Free Tickets) will be available for those who may not be able to afford or have the means to pay for the Gathering.

Ticket Allowances for the GORM Gathering 2024 are distributed on a rolling basis. Tickets Allowances will be distributed until September 12 2024, 11.59pm.

ACCESSIBILITY
Our aim for The GORM Gathering is to ensure accessibility for all who wish to participate and to facilitate attendees in engaging fully with the event. We are committed to continually improving our efforts towards accessibility and disability justice. Attendees who require mobility aids are encouraged to bring their canes, walkers, or wheelchairs to the gathering. Our venue is designed to accommodate everyone, ensuring comfortable movement and the ability to fully immerse yourself in the experience we have curated.
Physical Accommodations:
- The Venue is fully accessible with lifts and accessibility ramps to the conference room.
- A Live Audio Captioning Service will be used to provided for the film screenings and live conversations.
Non-Physical Accommodations:
- A quiet room will be available for those who need it throughout the event.
- There will be two entrances, a bar entrance, and a non-bar entrance for those who wish not to pass through a bar.
- Earplugs and face masks will be provided.

REFRESHMENTS & CATERING
Refreshments will be included with your ticket. We will also cater for all dietary requirements, please let us know in advance so we can organise this. The venue is also close to many cafes, restaurants and shops should you prefer to get your own lunch.
