The Gordon School will host Jason Craige Harris an author and educator who specializes in leadership strategy culture and resolution of crises and conflicts for a discussion about democracy dissent and decision making. The conversation is part of Gordon’s work to equip students parents caregivers and educators with the tools to navigate challenging topics including the historic and complicated presidential election ahead. Jason will also lead workshops with students and faculty during the school day.
Gordon has an explicit mission of producing graduates who will go on to change the world. Conversations about identity and belonging are always welcome and real-world issues are brought into the classroom addressed in age and grade-appropriate ways so that each student may better understand the world and their place in it. This event is free and open to the public with child care available for Gordon students.
