The Good Trade Makers Market - Providence, RI

The Good Trade Makers Market is a true celebration of tradespeople. We’ll be bringing nearly 100 of the country’s greatest independent makers and small manufacturers under one roof for a weekend of shopping at the beautiful WaterFire Arts Center in Providence, RI on November 23rd & 24th, 2024, from 11-5 pm on both days.

You'll meet innovators, designers, and makers who have been meticulously honing their crafts, and by tackling your holiday shopping at The Good Trade Makers Market, you'll be supporting independent businesses from fifteen states!

With entry, you'll receive a drink ticket that can be redeemed on-site for a single small beer or cocktail pour (or a discount on a larger beer or cocktail!), coffee, or even a small ice cream from one of our sponsors! We'll be announcing our sponsors soon.

Tickets to this event are non-refundable, but you can send them to a friend if you are unable to attend. Simply forward your tickets to another person via email, or send a screenshot - so long as we can see the QR code at check-in. Each individual ticket a unique QR code.

Vendors will have a large selection of unique goods at varying price points. Most vendors take cash, cards, and cash apps, but there is no ATM on site. We recommend bringing your reusable tote bag!

The WaterFire Arts Center and this event are accessible to those with mobility aids, though the event does get busy. If you use a mobility aid, please look for our security or event staff if you need assistance.

This event is held indoors and will take place rain or shine. There may be a short wait to get in, which we will work through quickly, but plan to be outside for a bit and dress accordingly just in case!

Bring your ID if you plan on having delicious cocktails and beer at our bar! Coffee and non-alcoholic beverages will be available, too. We recommend bringing your reusable water bottle, as the venue has several water bottle filling stations.

OMG, A BOOK SWAP!:

Bring your pre-loved books to The Good Trade's Book Trade and swap them out with our pre-loved books! Our book swap is free, open to all, and is located right behind the check-in desk where we scan your tickets. Please, no bibles, encyclopedias, or text books.

We love our rescue pugs, but this event is not pet friendly. Please leave your pets at home. This includes animals in carriers, strollers, and bags. Certified service dogs who are trained to provide medical support are welcome. Emotional support and therapy animals are not allowed. There are no exceptions, and we cannot refund your tickets if you sneak a Shitzu in.

Children age 3 and under are welcome to attend at no cost, but anyone 4 years old and older requires a ticket for entry. Strollers are welcome, but please be careful of our vendors and other attendees, as this event does get busy. Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.

Parking is free and plentiful in the WaterFire Arts Center on-site parking lot. There are many handicap parking spots available - but please don't park in one unless you have the legal right to do so. You will be towed.

Our events are documented by professional photographers and videographers, as well as local media and members of the press. By attending The Good Trade Makers Market, you are entering an area where filming and photography occur. By attending this event, you understand that you may be photographed, filmed, or videotaped and you hereby give Good Trade Makers Market/Ampersand Creative Co LLC the unqualified right to take pictures and/or recordings of you and grant the perpetual right to use your likeness, image photo (collectively, “image”), without compensation, for broadcast or exhibition in any medium and to put the finished pictures/recordings to any legitimate use without limitation or reservation. You hereby waive, release and forever discharge Good Trade Makers Market/Ampersand Creative Co LLC from and against any and all claims or actions arising out of or resulting from any use of your image.

In the event that The Good Trade needs to be rescheduled due to COVID-19 or another reason, tickets will not be refunded and will be valid for a rescheduled date in the future. Ticket holders will be notified via email. We reserve the right to implement a mask requirement at this event, though we don't plan to and don't anticipate needing to do so. We'll follow public health guidelines, and if masks are necessary, we'll announce it before the event takes place.

DON'T BE A JERK

We reserve the right to remove any attendee who harasses, harms, or intimidates other attendees, vendors, or our staff - or generally speaking, acts like a jerk - so please don't. We're here for a good time, and we have a zero tolerance policy for rude behavior. You'll be removed from the event without a refund.
