Set in Prague during the 16th century, a rabbi uses sorcery to bring a giant creature made of clay to life. Initially meant as a compassionate protector, the creatureโs temperament quickly changes. THE GOLEM is considered by many critics to be one of the first truly cinematic movies with its exceptional blend of story, performance, production design, and camerawork.
