We are incredibly excited to be announce that Monday, September 29th, we will be putting on SILENT MOVIE DAY at Art House Cinema and Pub with a special 100th anniversary screening of the legendary 1925 Charlie Chaplin classic, THE GOLD RUSH, accompanied by a special live jazz soundtrack performance from local musicians Parker Brown, Alex Nauman, and Clay Green!These three never fail to wow us with their musical talent, and we hope to see this one sell out, proving that Billings is not only full of love for local music and familiar faces, but for historically unforgettable films as well!
Chaplin's Little Tramp character takes part in the legendary Klondike Gold Rush, heading up to frigid Alaska where he is forced to share a cabin with a successful prospector and a fugitive. As the hunt for riches continues, the Tramp tries valiantly to win the heart of the lodge's barmaid.
