The Goddesses of Yoga Four-week series with Kat Now

Connect within to the radiant beauty, raging warrior, flowing intuitive, and fierce protector as you learn to embody the divine feminine through mantra, gentle yoga, mudra, and meditation. Each week of this four week series will focus on learning about a specific Goddess from Sally Kempton’s book Awakening Shakti, The Transformative Power of the Goddesses of Yoga. Learn about practical ways to connect with each Goddess on and off of your yoga mat.

Learn about qualities of some of the Goddesses from yogic traditions, and how to connect with those qualities through movement, intention, and sound. The Goddesses of Yoga is inspired by works by scholar-practitioners Sally Kempton and Nubia Teixeira.
These classes will be an affirming space for people of all gender identities and expressions to explore a few of the concepts related to the sacred feminine through yoga. Instructor Kat Now is a cis woman with extensive experience advocating for and being in community with trans and nonbinary people. Everyone is welcome.

Cost: $70 for 4-class series (only $65 if registered by Sept 24) or $20 for a single class. Register before 5:00 pm via our website www.community-yoga.com or the MindBody app.

About the Instructor:
Kat Now is a yoga, mindfulness, and conscious dance teacher & musician. She holds over 300 hours of certifications from Kripalu, The Accessible Yoga School, Love Your Brain Yoga, JourneyDance, and more.
