Join us for our 50th Anniversary Bookshop Day Celebration on Saturday 12th October
We are coming together for a time of praise; prayer; reflections; and God Moments from 50 years of The GLO Bookshop!
This event includes a buffet lunch (the most important bit) as well as a special bookshop discount and photos for us to dig out when we celebrate our 100th anniversary!
We look forward to welcoming all our customers and friends of The GLO Bookshop ministry.
People should please let us know they are coming to give an idea of numbers for catering.
The event will take place in Tilsley College Auditorium at the GLO Centre, Motherwell. Limited car parking is available at the GLO Centre and there is plenty of free parking in other local car parks. The rail station is just across the road from the GLO Centre and the bus stances are just a few minutes walk. If travelling by car, we suggest using the postcode ML1 1LP (Pollock Street, Motherwell) for your satnav.
The GLO Bookshop has had the honour of serving the community of Motherwell since 1973, a half-century filled with wonderful and challenging experience as the recognition of the bookshop and wider ministry of GLO Europe has expanded and adapted. We have enjoyed visits from well-known defenders of the faith such as John Lennox, and respected authors from a range of ministries, including Andy Bannister, Sharon Garlough Brown, and Tom Lennie.
